Update: 17 March 2020 (Social distancing and Isolation)

You will no doubt be aware of changes to advice issued by the government regarding the COVID-19 situation during the Prime Minister’s briefing yesterday.

Please be assured that we are following all the advice given to support children and staff in school and that to date we have no confirmed cases linked to our school.

It is important that we all keep up to date with the latest advice and we refer you to the updated government and NHS websites.

New advice includes guidance about social distancing and to isolate for 14 days if anyone in your household has any symptoms.  Those with the any of the listed underlying health concerns should also follow updated guidelines.  You can read more on the GOV.UK website:

We will continue to update our own website with information and updates as they are released:

We are also working to finalise our arrangements for contingency regarding educational provision in the event of partial or full school closure.  I am well aware of your concerns and anxieties and we are keeping all aspects of decision making under constant review.

Thank you in advance for following the updated advice and guidance for parents/carers. We are a truly caring community and your help and support is invaluable in helping to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all at this complex, ever changing and challenging time.
