Charlotte – rugby champion!

Year 10 GCSE PE student Charlotte is a newly crowned national champion after her club, Barkers’ Butts took victory in the national Finals at Worcester on Sunday.  Charlotte started playing rugby in Year 7 at school and has never looked back.  Joining the local side and developing into a skilled prop she has captained her side during a victorious campaign this season.  We wish her all the very best going forward in her sport for which she has massive potential!

FA Cup

Visit to FA Cup at Wembley
Visit to FA Cup match at Wembley

Last Saturday 4 May, a lucky group of girls from the school football teams travelled to Wembley to see the FA cup final between Manchester City and West Ham United.  Manchester City won 3-0 in a great display of women’s football and the students represented the school magnificently well in their conduct throughout the day.  We look forward to supporting the England Lionesses in the World Cup next month!
