Speakers for School: Live Events from 14 June

During the previous lockdowns in the UK, Speakers for Schools have been continuing their programme of free access to leading inspirational speakers for schools.  Normally, speakers would visit schools and venues to present talks to students on a variety of topics across a wide range of expertise and experience.

Notable speakers include actor and writer Hugh Dennis, entrepreneur Baroness Martha Lane Fox and mathematician Dr Nira Chamberlain to name a few of the many presenters.

Heart of England have been lucky to have hosted some of these speakers in the past and we can still benefit by accessing Speakers for School live events and recordings online.

The events continue with new schedules released every week (some need to be pre-registered) and next week the content is designed for 16-18 year old students.  Live broadcasts are a great way for students to hear directly from leading figures from a range of industries, and have the opportunity to ask questions via a moderated Q&A.
