Complete an application form and pass it to Mrs Shirley Davis via email or in person. You will then be invited to an interview with one of the sixth form tutor team, the head of Sixth Form or the Vice Principal. In this interview you will have an opportunity to discuss your application, ask any questions and explain why you would like a place at Heart of England Sixth Form. You will discuss in depth your subject choices and how this links into your future career prospects.
Applicants will be informed via letter if they have been successful in gaining a place and the conditions of the offer.
Each student will need to achieve a minimum average points score of 4.6† from his or her best 8 results; ensuring that a Grade 4 or higher is achieved in Maths or English Language or Literature. This average points score is based on the QCA points system which is as follows:
