Coming Up This Week…

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Presentations

Student will be receiving their Awards on Monday evening 7.30pm – 9.00pm in the hall (M011)


Ridleys bus passes

Passes for next term’s Ridleys services will go on sale on ParentPay at 5pm on Thursday 24 November.  Passes will be issued before the end of term.


17 Year 11 students have been successful in being awarded their prefect tie this week. They will be working alongside Sixth Form student leadership team and school council to help improve our school and local community over the next academic year.  Congratulations.


  • Meeting: Next meeting Wednesday 7 December 7.30pm Conference room. New members welcome. Meetings are once a month and commitment can be flexible in terms of skills and time you can offer to help towards fundraising

Catering Spend Limit

The daily spend limit was raised to £6 last month to accommodate the rise of food prices.  We are working to rectify a software problem which still sets the previous £5.00 limit and we apologise for any inconvenience.

Year 11 Prom Committee – Members Wanted!

Calling all Year 11’s: Ms Pittock and Mr Crawford are in need of a prom committee.  If interested, email or with your name and a reason why you would like to be on the committee.  Deadline next Friday 18 November.

English 3.30pm Lessons

Would you like a break from the tragedy that is Macbeth?  Would you prefer to get some relief coaching on Language Paper 2 instead?  Do you hate the ‘Triple Emphasis’?  Extra coaching available every Thursday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm in M217.  Feel free to bring snacks and get up-to speed on your Paper 2 skills.  Any questions please see Mr Karimjee.

Year 11 History Revision Session: Tuesday 3.30pm-4.30pm

Mrs Hunt will be holding three History revision sessions on Tuesdays 3.30pm  running up until the Mocks.  Room M115.  We will be revising in order the 1940s, the 1950s and the 1960s.
