Girl’s Rugby: Saturday 15 October
Barkers Butts rugby club are having a girls inner warrior morning for beginners on Saturday 15 October. An opportunity for girls to learn about rugby and have a go. No experience necessary just turn up. For more information: Barkers Butts RFC. PE Team.
Careers Fair: 20 October from 6pm-8pm Years 10-13 Main Hall (M011)
We are hosting a Careers Fair in school with a range of different educational establishments, large and small businesses and training and apprenticeship providers. Come with your child and find out about options for their next steps. Get an insight into courses and the world of work. Ask questions!. All students to attend.
Young Writer’s Poetry Competition: Deadline: 16 October 2022
We have had lots of entrants already so don’t miss out! Excellent prizes and opportunities available for students. See Miss Goodwin in M124 for more details or ask your tutor to enquire about a form.
School Musical: Auditions Tuesday 18 October in H003
Auditions for singing and speaking roles only (not chorus) on Tuesday 18 October in H003 straight after school until at least 5pm. Call backs on Thursday 20 after school in H003.

School Gates: Closed Between 3.25pm-3.40pm
In order to better protect the students whilst leaving school, the main gates will be closed to vehicles entering or leaving from 3:25pm-3:40pm. Students will use the pedestrian gate on Gipsy Lane to leave the premises. Vehicles inside the gates after 3:25pm will wait until 3:40pm to leave. Thank you for keeping our children safe.
Student Representation: Launching Soon
- Student Council: A chance for students to take part in having their views represented in school, promote views of students and be an instigator of change. With members from all years and led by the Head Students. Write a tweet (140) on why your peers should vote for you. Up to two hashtags. Apply by Thursday 20 October. Catering Allowance
The daily spend limit on food has been increased to £6 to accommodate the food price increases.
Lockers
All year groups have now been allocated their locker keys. Any further students wishing to purchase a locker are requested to Email lettings@heart-england.co.uk.
Netball is Back: First Win in First Game of the Year!
Well done to Year 9 team for the win under their belts in the first ever tournament representing our school.
