Lockers
Lockers are available to purchase for Year 10 and 11 students. Please pay £15 on ParentPay to reserve a locker which will be allocated next week during tutor time.
Catering Allowance
The daily spend limit on food has been increased to £6 to accommodate the food price increases.
Careers Fair: Years 10-13
SAVE THE DATE! On the 20 October from 6pm – 8pm we are hosting a Careers Fair in school with a range of different educational establishments from colleges to universities, as well as large companies and small businesses, training and apprenticeship providers. Come along with your child and find out about what options there are for their next steps. All guests are there to offer an insight into courses and the world of work. Please come and ask questions! The event will be in the Main Hall (M011). We would like all students to attend.
Young Writer’s Poetry Competition: Deadline: 21 October 2022
We have had lots of entrants already so don’t miss out! Excellent prizes and opportunities available for students. See Miss Goodwin in M124 for more details or ask your tutor to enquire about a form.
English After School Lessons
Would you like a break from the tragedy that is Macbeth? Would you prefer to get some relief coaching on Language Paper 2 instead? Do you hate the ‘Triple Emphasis’? Extra coaching available every Thursday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm in M217. Feel free to bring snacks and get up-to speed on your Paper 2 skills. Any questions please see Mr Karimjee.

Clubs
New! Coding Club
Code club will be starting on Monday lunchtimes in H016 after October half term for KS3 students and current KS4 computer science students. Come along if you are interested in programming, looking at computer hardware, improving your computer literacy skills such as learning to touch type etc. No need to sign up, just speak to your computing teacher for more information.
New! Radio Club
Fusion Radio Club will be restarting after half term. A chance to follow in the footsteps of former students who have successful media careers in radio and TV! Meeting on Tuesday lunchtime for planning and Thursday lunchtime for live broadcasting. Come along to try presenting or producing and learning how to run the studio. See Mr Ritchie in M215 studio.
