Poetry Competition: Poems for the Planet – Deadline!
Write any kind of poem be it a limerick, haiku or polished prose on the theme of hope and the environment for the Greenpeace Poems for the Planet competition, in collaboration with National Poetry Day. Enter one poem on the theme of the environment and hope. Any form of poetry up to 400 words. More info:

Agents of Kindness
Following on from Anti-Bullying Week and the theme of Reaching Out there will be Kindness Spies among you during the next three weeks; looking out for acts of kindness both in and outside of lessons. This might include helping someone who is hurt or upset, standing up for someone, or calling out unkindness. Names submitted to me will be given a Kindness Core Value merit. Repeated or special acts of kindness may result in a Kindness Award at the end of term. Ms West.
Christmas Concert: Thursday 8 December
Our Christmas Concert is on Thursday 8 December 7.00pm in the Main Hall (M 011). Please join us for performances by our students in the run-up to the festive season. Tickets £4/£3 via ParentPay.
ID Cards for Purchasing Food
ID cards are needed to purchase food in school. Students without a card may not be served if they do not have it going forward. New ID cards can be purchased from ParentPay, price £2.50.
Racing Debut for Brea
Year 10 student Brea has made her car-racing debut in the Michelin Ginetta Junior Winter Series last weekend (12-13 November) at Brands Hatch. Congratulations to Brea and watch out for our blog article next week on her achievement!

Clubs
- Poetry Club: Thursdays in M201 during lunch. Bring your own lunch and any poetry you’ve written. Read the poem selected by the club on out new Poetry Club page – This week two untitled poems were selected. Speak to Mr O’Brien for more details.
