Coming Up This Week…
Bus Passes
Please could all students that use the 180, 181 and 184 busses collect their passes from finance this week. Announcements will be made when the Solihull bus passes are available.
Lockers
Lockers will be available to purchase for year 7s via ParentPay from next Friday the 15 September. The cost of a locker for a year will be £15 or £50 for 5 years. Further information will follow for other year groups. If you experience any problems with ParentPay, please contact finance-email@heart-england.co.uk

Medical Cards
Students who have previously been given a medical card, they can now collect their new ones from the school office.
We Will Rock You
This year we will be taking on the hit musical We Will Rock You: School Edition. If you want to be involved, please attend a meeting Tuesday 12 September lunch time in H003.
Tutor Meet and Greet Evening (All Years): Monday 18/Tuesday 19 September 3.45pm-6.45pm
- Monday 18 or Tuesday 19 September 2023 between 3.45pm and 6.45pm. This is an In-school See letter.
Careers Fair 12 October 2023: Years 9 to 13:
This year’s Careers Fair will be held on the 12 October from 6pm-8pm in the Main Hall. Directed to Years 9 to 13 students.
We also need volunteers from any career pathway to help out to speak to individual students about their career/how they got into it/qualifications needed etc. and answer questions. Sixth Form Opportunities Newsletter
Our Head Boy Jacob has produced a newsletter full on information about opportunities for Year 12 and 13 students. Take a look at this essential first edition which contains a wide variety of opportunities and includes useful links and dates.

- Homework Club every Thursday- in M216- from 3.30-5pm- starting from Thursday 14 September
- Book Club– M124- every Tuesday lunchtime- starting from 12 September
- Key Stage 4 Book Club: Want to get good GCSE grades in English and become a more accomplished reader? Advanced book club for years 10 and 11 will run during Tuesday lunch times in M125. Details from Mr O’Brien or Ms Shannon
- Poetry and Creative Writing Club: Open to all years in M125 with either Ms Shannon or Mr O’Brien
- Radio Club: want to be on the school radio? Join Radio Club Tuesday/Thursday M215. Mr Ritchie
- Garden Club: Tuesday lunchtimes, meeting initially in M035 starting on September 19
- School Newspaper Club: every Friday lunch time in M125
