  • Keep a lookout for our double page spread in the latest version of The Bugle out now. Delivered free locally and available free in local outlets and shops.

Athletics

Well done to the Year 8 students who competed at Warwick University this week. We had a handful of PBs and some excellent top three finishes!  Congratulations to Euan, Joel and Eva who all medalled at the Warwickshire Championships in their events; 800m, 300m and 80m Hurdles.

Year 7 have their first fixture the first week back after half term, Wednesday 8 June – practice is on next week and all who are interested need a letter from Miss Sykes.

The Super 6s Athletics Competitions then follow throughout June, again any interest in these please speak to Your PE teacher.

Remember: Bring Your DEAR Book

  • A reminder to students to bring your DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) book to school every day

Summer Term Sports Clubs: 3:30-4:45pm

All clubs are available for all students from all year groups and are recreational – this means it is not just for those who are competitive and want to compete for school!

  • Monday – Tennis
  • Wednesday – Athletics
  • Thursday – Cricket
  • Friday – Hockey (when there are no exams on)

Year 10 Revision Sessions

  • Year 10 English: Jekyll and Hyde revision session Wednesdays after school in M125 – 3.25pm-4.30pm. Particularly useful if you have missed lessons with a teacher due to their absence or your absence! Mrs Heselden and Mrs McLarnon

Year 11 Revision Sessions and Exams News

  • Maths Revision Sessions: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 3.30pm – 4.30pm in H118 & H120. Foundation and Higher tiers catered for so come along for as many or few as you can manage.
  • Year 11 English GCSE: if you need any help, have any questions or want to see one of us, best to email your English teacher first.  Good luck everyone!
