Rail Services: Expected Disruption Next Week

Advice from West Midlands Trains: Rail services will be heavily disrupted throughout the duration of next week due to planned strike action.

Whilst strike action is currently planned for Tuesday 21st June, Thursday 23rd June, and Saturday 25th June, the knock-on impact means that we are also expecting Wednesday 22th June and Friday 24th June to be similarly disrupted.  Expect severe disruption and to plan ahead.  Further information is available on the London Northwestern website at:

Calling All Years: Creative Writing Competition!

Fantastic prizes on offer!  Historically, we have had lots of winners who have had their work published, then their work has been put in for the second round of the prize giving – it’s definitely worth a go.  The title is: Twisted Tales- A New Point of View… See Miss Goodwin in M124 more details.  Deadline for entries is Friday 22 July.

Rounders Club

If you’re enjoying rounders in your lessons don’t forget Rounders Club every Thursday after School.  In addition there will be a Year 7/8 girls cricket tournament in July that I would like to take a team to. Please come along to rounders club to practice your fielding skills! No experience required!  Mrs Williams
