Our students have been taking part in getting active in the Think Active scheme involving a variety of sporting tasks at home. Here, Miss Sykes gives us a update on how it is all going:
A big well done to all of our students who have represented the school in our sports teams this year and who have helped contribute to Heart of England being awarded our badge of recognition from the school games programme! Despite there being no competitions this term we continue to encourage all of our students to get involved with the virtual schools challenge which goes out every Monday to all students.
Before half term our students finished first in athletics and second in cricket out of of the schools in south Solihull – so we have lots to play for!
This week has seen tennis taking place and next week we move onto dance – well done and good luck to all our competitors who are getting involved!
