Governors: Who’s Who…

Introduction

On 1 July 2011 Heart of England School converted from a local authority maintained school to academy trust status under the Academies Act 2010 and all the operations, assets and liabilities were transferred from Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to the academy trust of Heart of England School.

The academy trust is a company limited by guarantee with no share capital (registration no: 7654164) and is an exempt charity.

The Governors of Heart of England School are also the directors of the charitable company and trustees of the academy trust for the purposes of company law.
