Our students have been out and about in the sports fields and swimming pools of the area with a trophy and some medals to show for it!  Here’s our regular sports summary from Miss Sykes:

The more senior team of Years 9 and 10 was made up by Lauren, Lucie, Laila, Emily, Bronwyn, Isabel, Josh, Georgia, Mason and Ben.

The Year 9/10 girls and the Year 9/10 boys both won the overall trophy for their category, and individual medals went to: Alfie, Sam, Laila, Josh and Ben.

Year 7 Football

The Year 7 Boys football team were up against Lode Heath on Tuesday and after a strong start eventually conceded a 3-1 defeat. Well Done to Dan who got the goal and to the whole team who have shown real improvement as the season has gone on!  Thanks to Mr Donohoe for all the training and fixtures that have taken place this year, it’s really helped the students to improve and enjoy the sport.

Rugby

The under 13 girls rugby team went over to Rugby on Wednesday night to play a tournament with other schools in the area.  The team faced good opponents from Rugby High School, Shipston and Harris School and battled really well in their first competitive contact matches.  Well Done to all the students who took part!
